During the time when we were preparing to establish our EXPERT Group in 2013, I came to know of the famous German philosopher Thomas Pogge’s comment about poverty. Mr. Pogge has accused the wealthy in western countries of actively harming the world’s poor by propagating the wrong political and economic systems. To my judgment, his consideration is true not only for the western countries rather very practical for the South Asian as well as the African countries specially for a country like ours. I believe all the poverty that exists in the world today is eradicable although it is somewhat tough in our densely populated country but definitely not impossible. EAD Foundation is a multi-faceted organization that works for welfare and development covering the poor and marginalized communities of the society especially focusing women and children. With a set of holy vision, we found EADF to work against poverty as well as other social and environmental problems like illiteracy, superstitions, gender discriminations and so forth. But after all we are human. Although our mission includes a huge range of objectives (targets), our abilities do not support financially and also bin terms of manpower. Considering, these practical sceneries we would request each and every one irrespective of cast & creed willing and capable to come forward either with financial assistance or with their physical participation or both.
